Infant Eczema

I was horrified when i first saw my baby's face filled with  red bumps that look like pimples its on his cheeks, forehead and temples, i went to the doctor right away when i found it get worst it covers all over his face, but the doctor said its eczema and there is no treatment  needed for infant eczema, it will come and go, just wash it with water two or three time daily, pat it dry, and it will clear within a few weeks or month.
True enough it clears up within a few weeks, but it did came back a month after and it was bigger this time and it tends to get worst when his fussy or crying or maybe his fussy and crying because its itchy i can tell it is itchy he keep scratching his face and his stomach this time its covers his body too and it looks so alarming and then again i went to his doctor and ask if there's anything we can do about it because he can't no longer sleep good.

Finally the doctor gave us prescription it was 1% hydrocortisone (Aveeno) and advise us not to gave baby a bath everyday for the soap can make his skin dries up even of its a baby soap and so i did and finally its clears up although sometimes the roughness is still there.

I learned that the reason for that is the mothers hormones  that still circulating in the baby's system and also the pores of newborns aren't completely develop, making them easy targets for infiltration by dirt and the resultant blossoming of blemishes.

Discovering Camotes Island

I had an opportunity visiting Camotes Island and I can’t believe what I see. “It is a virgin island” as I call it, the place is so clean, so solemn, relaxing yet beautiful. THE LAKE DANAO- it is known to be the largest lake in Visayas & Mindanao, the total area of the lake is 680 hectares. THE MANGODLONG ROCK RESORT - coconut-shaded garden close to the beachfront. Across the resort and separated by a blue sea is a coral islet with tropical huts spread out, connected by a sand bar from the beach. THE SANTIAGO BAY GARDEN & RESORT- overlooking a wide expanse of fine white sand, and a dazzling blue ocean.

Ramadan

I heard the word “Ramadan” a lot of times, in fact today is declared holiday here because it’s the end of “ramadan?” I was just kinda curious about what really “ramadan” means, I did some research, and here I will share some of my research about it. The name Ramadan is derived from the Arabic word ramida or ar-ramad, denoting intense scorching heat and dryness, especially the ground. From the same word there is ramdaa, meaning “sunbaked sand” and the famous proverb Kal Mustajeer minar ramadaa binnar—to jump out of the frying pan into the fire. Some say it is so called because Ramadan scorches out the sins with good deeds, as the sun burns the ground. Ramadan brings out a special feeling of emotional excitement and religious zeal among Muslims of all ages. Though fasting is mandatory only for adults, children as young as eight willingly observe fasting with their elders.
